Abstract: The present study deals with the 9 9 of 17 species of the genus Arachnospila,subgenus Ammosphex (Wahis, 1986). The investigations of 6,772 Arachnospila 9 9 yieldednew results which have been considered in the present key. This key completes the keys ofWolf (1972) and Oehlke/Wolf (1987). Additionally, the 9 9 of each species are described indetail. A pseudabnormis (Wolf, 1965) is a recent synonym of A. hedickei (Haupt, 1929).A. rhaetabnormis and A. silvana are new to Germany. A. silvana is new to The Netherlands.A. westerlundi is new to Italy, Austria, and Sweden. A. virgilabnormis is new to Denmarkand A. ausa is new to Northwest Germany.
