Résumé :
During an excursion to investigate the Lepidoptera fauna of the Vosges mountains (E France) the author found cases of the psychid Sterrhopterix standfussi (Wocke, 1851) in 1996. They were quite common on heather (Calluna) growing in peat-bogs along the ridge of the mountain range. This is the first record of the species for France and also one of the most westerly. The species should be looked for in other suitable localities in France.
